It had been a while since I went to Captain george's, but the food was still good. The only comment on the food was the crawdads were a little salty. However, everything else was great. The crab legs and Oyster Rockefeller where the standouts during my last visit. However, I did have an opportunity to try the brisket and it was better than I had expected. Juicy and very tender! I went on a Monday night so there were no crowds. If I had a negative, it would be the price of the drinks, they are very high.

When I told my friends I was visiting Virginia Beach, this seafood buffet was the first place they recommended. Now I completely understand why. From mountains of hot snow crab legs to shrimp, scallops, clams, and a great selection of meats, this buffet truly has it all. What impressed me even more was how packed it was. Even close to closing time, the restaurant was still full of locals, which says a lot about how popular it is. Unlike many buffets that stop refilling food before closing, they kept bringing out fresh, hot snow crab legs until the very end. That level of service really impressed me. Our server, Miranda, was friendly, attentive, and very professional. They also offer a gift shop and optional souvenir photos, which made the experience even more memorable. This wasn't just a great meal. It became one of my favorite memories from Virginia Beach. The price may seem a little high at first, but by the time we left, it honestly felt worth every dollar. I almost wished I could pay more for an experience like this. My only small disappointment was that they don't offer a military discount. Other than that, this place was outstanding.

Came here after reading and hearing reviews about this place. Entrance is behind a ship decoration. Was welcomed and assigned a seating area. Place is big with several buffet sections. Joe was our sever and took good care of us. Food was ok and nothing that stood out. Presentation was standard buffet fare. Crab legs were ok. Soft shell crabs were mushy, Most of the food was salty. It’s one and done for me.

We had an amazing experience here. The buffet is absolutely enormous. I wish the food is just a tad warmer, but the flexibility and the amount of different type of food was awesome.

$50 All you can eat buffet. With the choices this place has and the food always fresh and hot it's completely worth it if you get 3 plates of crab , 2 plates of sides or non seafood and 1 plate of dessert. If you can't handle that challenge, try their kids menu options they are under $15 and could feed TWO adults. Or you can be cutesy and try another personal entree off their menu. No matter what you choose, this is worth a try and always a go to when we visit Virginia. Captain Georges NEVER disappoints and the servers are super proactive and keep your table cleared and questions answered.
